84-Mile Mountain Bike Trail System Coming to Maine

Piscataquis County riders have some epic trails coming their way. The Elliotsville Foundation, Inc. is spearheading the “7 Ponds Preserve” – a massive trail system on the 10,000 acre parcel owned by EFI.

The Elliotsville Foundation, Inc. was established by Burt’s Bees founder, Roxanne Quimby, along with an endowment that has enabled them to purchase vast amounts of Maine land.

For the last fifteen years, this parcel has been allowed to reforest, but it’s ready for development. What a development it is… this is some epic world-class-level stuff we’re talking about. 84 miles?! Be still my heart.
